
Yesterday, another mail carrier, this time in Medford, Massachusetts, was assaulted on duty, according to NBC Boston.
Hoodline Boston reported that on October 26, the USPIS has already offered $150,000 as a reward for information leading the the arrest of an individual or individuals associated with assualts on mail carriers in Dorchester & Mattapan.
The Medford attack occurred shortly to after 11:40 a.m. on Arden Road, leaving the carrier in serious condition and hospital-bound as reported by WCVB.
This assault isn't an isolated incident, however, as recent robberies targeting mail carriers in Boston demonstrate. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has now even offered a second $150,000 reward connected to these crimes, as detailed in a report by WCVB.
