John Wayne Airport is serving up a visual feast that's just as sweet as a summertime treat, and believe us, you'll want to lick it right up. From November 10 through March 10, 2024, the Vi Smith exhibit dubbed Endless Summer is celebrating Orange County's perennial suntan with a heaping scoop of artistic flair, in a press release from John Wayne Airport Orange County.

Local Southern California pop artist Betsy Enzensberger is tooting her own horn with a lineup of 82 custom popsicle sculptures that, quite literally, drip with nostalgia. These Original Melting Pops™ have visitors snapping selfies faster than you can say "brain freeze." Meanwhile, Sarah Stieber throws you right into the deep end with her "Water" series of paintings, where everything from sparkly swimsuits to reflective waters has summer written all over them.

Stieber's splashy San Diego roots come to life with characters who're draped in out-of-this-world garb and pose in a water wonderland. As the airport's release puts it, the subjects are "radiating pride in one's identity," much like a modern-day sea nymph would in a glittering mermaid suit.
