Firefighters in Austin doused a small blaze that broke out in a home on Sunday, stemming from a heat source that got a little too cozy with flammable materials. The incident took place in the 5000 block of Crystal Water Drive, where a patio heater, snuggled up too closely to a wall, became the catalyst of the fire.
As per the Austin Fire Department's X feed, the wall fire was quickly smothered by the responding crews. The family, whose home was caressed by the flames, will not be displaced. "Family will be able to re-occupy," the department chirped on social media.

Further investigation by CBS Austin confirmed the cause of the scare, with the fire department revealing that the fire was indeed due to the patio heater's improper proximity to the wall. In a stroke of good fortune, the fire was detained within the confines of that single wall, sparing the remainder of the residence.
