Earlier today, a severe fire on Rector Road in Boston left six individuals without a home. Fire personnel worked extensively to suppress a second alarm fire that consumed a two-and-a-half-story building. As per Boston 25 News' report, upon arrival, firefighters were greeted with heavy smoke coming out of the building.
Remarkably, the Boston Fire Department managed to immediately suppress the fire. They encountered difficulties with site access due to tangled wires and flames erupting through the roof and upper-level walls, as detailed in WHDH's coverage. Despite these hindrances, their heroic efforts ensured no injuries were sustained.
Though six adults are faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives, the exact cause of the fire remains to be determined.
