Earlier today, Boston-area resident Kenny Romero, colloquially known as "KG," admitted to his involvement in a violent Boston street gang. Romero also confessed to firearm and drug trafficking offenses, as released by the United States Attorney's Office of Massachusetts.

Facing charges including conspiracy to participate in racketeering, cocaine distribution and possession intending distribution, and being a repeat offender in possession of a firearm and ammunition, Romero is a member of the Dorchester-based Cameron Street gang. This organization has notoriously relied on violence and intimidation to control their territory and maintain their influence. The gang has even targeted the rival Norton/Olney/Barry (NOB) gang with deadly firearms for assault, murder, and protection during drug trafficking operations.

According to records, Romero himself sold eight firearms, ammunition, cocaine base, and cocaine to an undercover witness who posed as a Cameron Street gang member.
