Yesterday evening, a blaze broke out in an unoccupied three-story wooden structure on Blossom Street, Chelsea, Massachusetts. First responders drastically moved to the scene, working tirelessly to control the fire as per NBC Boston. Fortunately, there weren't any casualties or injuries.
The fire, which penetrated the second and third floors, created challenging conditions for firefighters, who battled strong winds and were cautiously conducting an internal assault as WHDH reports. Despite the difficulties, they succeeded in limiting the damage to the single structure and saving an adjacent inhabited building.
The origin of the fire, however, remains under scrutiny. Officials are treating the incident as potentially suspicious following an assessment of the building's damage and the fire's spread as Boston 25 News stated. Details are still limited, but a thorough investigation is underway.
