A Chicago Police Department (CPD) community alert was recently published regarding a series of armed robberies in the city's 17th and 25th districts. These incidents all took place on November 4. The alleged perpetrators are a group of four individuals, traveling in an orange vehicle and accused of using handguns to carry out the robberies.
According to the CPD's report, the first robbery took place at 6:20 p.m., on the 2900 block of N. Kilpatrick Ave. Shortly after a crime, the same individuals committed another crime at 6:25 p.m. on the 4700 block of W. Altgeld St. Following this, another incident was reported on N. Kenton Ave., and finally, one more at N. Kenneth Ave. at 6:26 p.m. It appears all these crimes took place in less than 10 minutes.
The offenders identified are African American men of similar age and complexion, who swiftly and efficiently executed the robberies. As per the alert, they announced the robbery, collected valuables, and fled the scene.
