A community alert has been issued in Chicago's 3rd District, specifically in the Grand Crossing area, due to a string of recent robberies.
The Chicago Police Department reports that the criminals are not hesitant to use firearms. There have been alarming incidents of them firing at non-compliant victims and forcing others to withdraw cash from multiple ATMs.
The perpetrators of these crimes are one or two African American males with physical descriptions, standing between 5'4" and 5'8", and wearing ski masks to conceal their identities.
The Chicago Police Department has urged residents to remain vigilant and immediately report any unusual activities in their neighborhood.
