In a harrowing encounter, the cop was accosted by four assailants after exiting his car on North LeClaire Avenue as a black Nissan menacingly pulled up to the scene. Brandishing guns and rifles, the criminals demanded the officer's property, including his badge. Despite the life-threatening circumstances, the officer emerged unharmed; however, the attackers disappeared into the night, speeding away with the officer's belongings.

There, a man of 52 years of age encountered the same fate at the hands of three gun-wielding males in a black Nissan in the 8000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.
The attacks span the maps, from the 700 block of West 15th Street to the 2300 block of West 83rd Street. Fortunately, police have confirmed that none of the victims sustained injuries during the crime.
