
On November 5th, 19-year-old Vincent Griffin was charged with the felony counts of vehicular hijacking with a firearm, unlawful vehicular invasion, and receiving, possessing, or selling a stolen vehicle, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The alleged crime occurred less than five hours before Griffin's arrest. The Chicago Police Department reports that Griffin told the victim he was carrying a firearm, intimidating the 47-year-old male into surrendering his vehicle.
His subsequent detention hearing is scheduled to take place on November 7.
