Vallejo was shaken by a head-on collision that claimed a life, marking the eighth fatal crash of the year. The Vallejo Police Department is currently reconstructing the tragic events of yesterday when a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, traveling in the wrong direction in the southbound lane, collided with a 1996 Cadillac sedan at Broadway Street and Sereno Drive.
First responders arrived at the scene to find three individuals in the Cadillac and one in the Toyota. Law enforcement officers sadly declared one Cadillac passenger dead at the scene. The Toyota, traveling north in the southbound lanes of Broadway, continued until it was too late, per the Vallejo Police Department.
Authorities withheld the names of the victims, keeping their identities confidential during the ongoing investigation. However, they did disclose that no drugs or alcohol were involved, based on initial assessments.
