On November 1 at 11:08 a.m., the Drug Control Units of District A-7 (East Boston) and District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) successfully arrested 63-year-old Robert Ciampi, an East Boston resident, in connection to drug trafficking. Boston Police Department report indicates this operation is a part of ongoing investigations in East Boston's Orleans Street area.
The executing search warrants led to recovery of trafficking amounts of different substances including fentanyl (242 grams), cocaine (65 grams), crack cocaine (13 grams), marijuana (15 pounds), hallucinogenic mushrooms, to distribute class B, possession and approximately $8,000 in U.S. currency.
Ciampi faces multiple charges such as trafficking class A and B, and possession with intent to distribute class B and D substances. His arraignment will be in the East Boston District Court.
