
A 72-year-old man was killed in a shooting on the night of November 19, in Chicago's Logan Square community. The victim, who remains unnamed, was caught in a crossfire.
As documented by ABC7 Chicago, the victim was walking on the 3900-block of West Fullerton Avenue around 9:55 p.m. when he was shot. He was rushed to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released, respecting the family's privacy.
The Chicago Police Department believes the gun was fired from a white SUV passing by. Despite this, no motive has been established and there have been no arrests so far, according to the Chicago Police Department.
