On Monday, November 6, a 77-year-old woman was robbed in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. As reported by NBC Boston, the incident occurred when an unfamiliar black SUV approached the lady while she was walking around her neighborhood. A male and female believed to be between 30 and 40 years old were inside. The female passenger lured the elderly lady towards the vehicle, then grabbed the back of her head pulling her closer, snatching her gold necklace.
The stolen necklace is of substantial sentimental value, being embedded with a family photograph pendant showcasing her late husband, and her parents. This revelation was provided by a WCVB report from the victim's son, who indicated that despite a scratch on his mother's neck, she is physically unharmed.
The Tyngsborough Police Department has provided home surveillance footage of an alleged vehicle involved in this crime, and requesting the public to offer any relevant information or footage from the Caroline Way area.
