Margaritaville, a new dining experience inspired by late musician Jimmy Buffett, has opened at Boston's Faneuil Hall. The restaurant, announced three years prior, opened officially two months after Buffett's death, as reported by Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog.
Taking over from the former McCormick & Schmick's restaurant, Margaritaville features a ground floor bar, a second-floor tiki bar, and an outdoor dining space. The menu includes Caribbean chicken egg rolls, fish and chips, crab cakes, jambalaya, and key lime pie. True to its name, the establishment also offers margaritas, "boat drinks," beer, and wine, reminiscent of many of Buffett's beloved songs.
Already, a promising new addition to Faneuil Hall, Margaritaville Boston invites guests to enjoy both the taste of the Buffett legacy and a brief escape into a tropical wonderland.
