Yesterday, at approximately 8:47 p.m., a 33-year-old man was fatally shot in the 6600 block of the South Woodlawn section in Chicago, as reported by the Chicago Police Department.
The unidentified man was in his automobile when the shooting happened.
Suffering multiple wounds, he attempted to escape, eventually crashing his car into a tree and light post.
Despite medical intervention, the man died at the University of Chicago.
The fatal shooting is currently under investigation by Area One Detectives.
