The Port of San Diego is bringing back its beloved South Bay holiday celebration to the National City Bayfront. On December 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors can anticipate holiday treats, an opportunity for a complimentary photo with Santa, and a variety of unique handmade goods for sale.

Located beside Pepper Park at 3299 Tidelands Avenue, the event is gearing up to welcome those looking to jumpstart their festive season. The Port of San Diego has announced a free shuttle service from the National City Public Library to transport guests directly to the event. Additionally, the Free Rides Around National City (FRANC) shuttles will run until 7 p.m. to further ease access. Details on shuttle services can be found here.

Commissioner Sandy Naranjo expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming festivities, saying, "We are incredibly excited to host the fourth South Bay Holiday event this year on the National City Bayfront.” The event is expected to unite the community, support local craftsmen, and highlight the waterfront location of the Aquatic Center, with the added perk of free parking and no need for RSVPs.

While there, visitors have the chance to check out the Aquatic Center for future events. The fair offers a prime opportunity for finding unique artisanal gifts, combining community spirit with commerce amid the holiday festivities. Plus, a much-anticipated visit from Santa Claus is set to delight children and those young at heart. According to the Port of San Diego's press release, Santa will be present "to share some holiday cheer."
