Yesterday, Glendale, California, introduced their new Library on Wheels.
According to their Instagram post, the Library on Wheels is a contemporary bookmobile that is essentially an outreach vehicle replete with books, ready to attend public spaces, events, and parks in the Glendale neighborhood.
The Library on Wheels has scheduled a stop at Maple Park's Shane's Inspiration Playground. This is where the inventive StoryWalkTM program will take place from November 22 through December 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
StoryWalkTM offers families an opportunity to indulge in picture book reading while simultaneously relishing parklands and participating in arts and crafts events.
