
A deadly inferno erupted in a Houston apartment complex Tuesday night, claiming one life. The fire blazed in the 6500 block of Dunlap Street. As per Click2Houston, details regarding the origin of the fire are under investigation.
The Houston Fire Department promptly answered the call about a dire situation. They were met with fumes and flames, which they battled, confining the disaster to a singular unit within the complex.
In the event, the fire department performed a desperate rescue, extending a 35-foot ladder in an attempt to redeem life from the jaws of destruction. The rescue of one victim was successful; however, that victim's dog could not be saved.
The Houston Fire Department made it clear that they are investing considerable resources into investigating the cause of the fire.
