Cops cuffed a creep following a frenzied manhunt that turned a quiet SoCal neighborhood upside down. A tattooed suspect wanted for robbery was nabbed after police scoured the streets from 5th to 8th, Johnson to Sepulveda Boulevard, as reported by MBAlerts.
According to MBAlerts, the man was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, with a shadow of a beard, decked out in all black with gray pants, and a rogue's gallery of ink etched on his neck and arms. He was said to have been lugging around a blue backpack, but what he didn't carry was any luck.
The chase ratcheted up the local tension to a near-breaking point, with the residents told to keep a hawk's eye out and not to hesitate to dial 911 upon spotting the suspect. It didn't take long for the authorities to slap the cuffs on him and haul him away. "Police activity concluded, suspect in custody. Thank you for your patience," announced a follow-up MBAlerts statement.
The cops have yet to dish out the full details of the heist or the suspect's alleged crimes. But one thing's for sure, it was a win for the good guys and a bad day to be on the wrong side of the law.
