Michigan-based pizza chain, Little Caesars, recently announced plans to increase its foothold in Boston by 2027. The expansion is part of a wider strategy, which includes the establishment of 10 new outlets in Chicago and another 100 in New York City and the Tri-State region, as reported by the Boston Restaurants Blog.
Little Caesars has signed two franchise development agreements to open 15 new restaurants in Boston and Chicago. Pritpal Bains and Haranchal Bains, who have owned and operated Little Caesars locations in California since 1999, were chosen to spearhead the Boston expansion, according to Verdict Foodservice.
To expand in the Chicago market, the company to deal, has signed a partnership with Karim Khowaja and Sanjeev Khatau. They will be responsible for opening ten new outlets and will acquire two existing Little Caesars locations. Little Caesars Chief Development Officer Jeremy Vitaro expressed eagerness to work with seasoned operators like the Bainses, and with industry veterans like Khowaja and Khatau, as the expansion gains ground.
Little Caesars was established in 1959 and already operates five outlets in Boston. The announcement of this broader expansion strategy underscores the brand's commitment to increase its reach in major cities across the East Coast and Midwest, bringing their distinctive Detroit-style pizza to a wider audience.
