Long Beach City has launched Mobile Access Centers (MAC) as an innovative method to address homelessness. These centers are instrumental in providing vital resources for individuals experiencing homelessness, according to the announcement by the City of Long Beach on Facebook.
MACs will be conveniently located in selected areas of Long Beach on weekdays throughout November, with prospects of expanding to alternative locations. This strategic initiative exhibits a unique way to bring much-needed services to the homeless.
The city describes that this mobile system "lower barriers to providing case management services and other resources for people experiencing homelessness," as per their Facebook post.
