Long Beach's El Dorado Nature Center is hosting its annual California Native Plant Sale from November 7 to 21, an event organized by the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation, and Marine (PRM). The sale showcases a variety of native plants, suitable for any garden, patio, or balcony, that offer both aesthetic and ecological value, as per a press release.
The event hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, as long as supplies last, with hundreds of native plant species available for purchase. Buyers can download and fill out the Plant Sale Order Form from the PRM website or complete one on arrival at the sale.
With payment options being cash, checks, and credit cards, pleases buyers to pick up their plants from the designated order fulfillment line. However, due to limited quantities, some species may sell out quickly, and pre-orders are not available. Plants are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
