In Dorchester, a motorcycle slammed into a pedestrian, leaving one dead and another in a critical fight for their life. The deadly encounter took place near the intersection of Blue Hill Ave. and American Legion Highway just before Saturday midnight, according to CBS News Boston.

Boston's first responders arrived at the scene around 10:44 p.m., where they found the motorcycle wreckage, and two individuals caught in the clutches of calamity, with one victim pronounced dead right there on the cold asphalt, and the other urgent whisked away to a city hospital, reported Boston 25 News

The Boston police swiftly cordoned off a section of Blue Hill Avenue from American Legion Highway to Talbot Avenue, as the Homicide Detectives and the Fatal Collision Investigation Team furrowed their brows over evidence, seeking answers nestled in the tragic scene. 

Residents wake to a chaos-contained, a strip of their daily pathway cut off as investigators continue their meticulous dance with the clues given by the skid marks, debris, and the daunting silence that now hangs over Blue Hill Avenue, according to CBS News Boston.

The investigation remains ongoing. The Boston Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
