
In Lakeside, Saturday night, one man was seriously injured in a shooting that erupted in the streets, officials with the San Diego Sheriff's Dept. reported. The chaos unfolded on Woodside Avenue, according to NBC San Diego.
According to the sheriff's department, deputies arrived shortly after the 7:24 p.m. emergency calls to find a man struck by a bullet, suffering from a wound in the chest area. The victim, whose name has yet to filter through the public domain, was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Subsequent to the tragedy's first act, officials sourced a potential suspect's vehicle near a CVS on Fletcher Parkway. "Deputies located a potential suspect's car... They pulled over the vehicle and detained more than one occupants," the sheriff described in a statement obtained by 10 News San Diego.
"SDSO believes a dispute led to the shooting and that there are a total of two victims — one from each side of the argument," sheriff's department affirmed ambiguities notwithstanding, elucidated as such according to NBC San Diego.
