Palmdale City officials announced yesterday, a unique event at Domenic Massari Park, where deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff's Station will join in a game with Palmdale Little League's Challenger Division. According to the City of Palmdale's official Facebook page, the event aims to foster greater unity and inclusivity between law enforcement and youth with special needs.
The Challenger Division enables children aged 4 to 15 with different special needs to participate in baseball, promoting a safe and encouraging environment for growth and friendship. This occasion is of particular importance, marking the inaugural season of Palmdale Little League including the Challenger Division.
