Palmdale, California, is gearing up for a uniquely-themed Thanksgiving event called the Turkey Hunger Games, slated for November 20 through November 22. This celebration aims to bring the community together at both the Marie Kerr Park Community Building and Domenic Massari Park as per an announcement on the city's Facebook page.

The Turkey Hunger Games will be a fun, themed activity each day. Families will create their potato heads during Mashed Potatoes Monday, with a chance to play hot potato later on.

On Thankful Tuesday, expressing gratitude turns artistic as participants engage in guided canvas painting. Wild Turkey Wednesday will be the grand finale, involving turkey crafts and a photo session with a live turkey.
