Residents of Palmdale seeking respite from the bone-chilling cold have a warm sanctuary to turn to this weekend, as temperatures take a nosedive below freezing. The doors of the Victory Outreach are thrown open to embrace those in need, offering a temporary haven from the unsparing grip of the frost.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Palmdale, the warming center's services are available today through Monday, November 27, providing warmth from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. each night. The center, located at 37419 25th St. East, has thrown open its doors as mercury plummets below 32 degrees. Palmdale exhibits its concern for its inhabitants, signifying that the center welcomes individuals of all ages.

Those in need of a ride can reach out to the hotline at 661-733-3823 to arrange their safe passage.
