Earlier this month, on October 26, Jamie Wooldridge of Plainfield, MA was arraigned in Berkshire Superior Court. He was charged with the dissemination of matter harmful to a minor and enticing a child under 16, as stated by the  Berkshire District Attorney's Office

Wooldridge is accused of engaging a minor under 16, between fall 2022 and October 4, of this year. He communicated with a 14-year-old girl from North Adams via Facebook, the conversations allegedly being sexual. Details included requests for sexual acts, images and descriptions of the girl's body. He allegedly acknowledged the girl's age several times, reported by Berkshire District Attorney's Office.

Unbeknownst to Woolridge, the "teenager" he was corresponding with was actually an undercover North Adams police officer. Police took Wooldridge into custody when he arrived at a prearranged meeting point.

Cash bail for Wooldridge was set at $25,000 by Honorable Judge Agostini, without prejudice. If Wooldridge makes bail, the conditions of release include no unsupervised contact with children under 18, barring his biological children and grandchildren. Assistant District Attorney Rachael Eramo is representing the Commonwealth, and the North Adams Police Department is currently the main enforcement agency involved in the case, in accord with Berkshire District Attorney's Office.
