The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters (ROV) unveils a new initiative, the BallotMobile, to enhance voter education. This mobile informative unit aims to visit all 24 cities and towns in the county from January 5 until the Presidential Primary Election Day on March 5. The objective of the initiative is to enlighten the county's 1.17 million registered voters on key aspects of the approaching election, including the early primary date, voter registration procedures, and voting options in San Bernardino County according to the official website.
The advent of the BallotMobile aligns with Registrar of Voters Stephenie Shea's firm belief in voter education as the pillar of democratic integrity. As Shea puts it, "We see the BallotMobile as a fun, interactive way for us to educate our residents about the 2024 Presidential Primary Election throughout the incredible landscape and communities of San Bernardino County."
The BallotMobile's two-month spanned journey is to provide voters with crucial voting information, chiefly on crossover voting, a topic often misconstrued. The BallotMobile's pop-up style is designed to render ease and accessibility to local residents desiring to extensively understand pertinent voting issues. "The BallotMobile will deliver a two- to three-hour pop-up experience at local events and well-known locations throughout the county," explained the announcement.
