A 50-year-old man was attacked while sleeping on a sidewalk in Bucktown. The assailant, unidentified, stabbed him at around 2 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Armitage Avenue and subsequently fled the scene, reports Chicago Sun-Times.
The victim suffered a nose injury and a puncture wound under the left arm. Detailing about the victim's condition, Fox 32 Chicago mentions him to be in good health at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Area Five detectives have begun the investigation, as reported by Fox 32 Chicago.
