The Ventura County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Ventura County Fire Department, has unveiled their participation in the Spark of Love Holiday Toy Drive. They aim to uplift underserved children and teens and combat hunger via donations to Food Share as per Sheriff's Public Information.
The local community and businesses are urged to contribute new, unwrapped toys, sports goods, and nonperishable food items to collection boxes at all Ventura County Sheriff's stations until December 11. This initiative offers a chance for the community to foster change within their neighborhoods.
More than 30,000 local youths benefited from last year's turnout. Besides toys and sports equipment, boxes of food were distributed to families served, courtesy of Food Share. This comprehensive effort attempts to meet both the emotional and physical needs of those less fortunate.
