Authorities are currently investigating a death suspected to be of a suspicious nature that occurred on Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire. A yet-to-be identified man was reportedly shot near 61 Lowell Street according to both Boston 25 News and NBC Boston.
Manchester police received the initial report of a motor vehicle accident at the scene at 1:12 a.m. Less than an hour later, officers at the scene were called back due to reports of a shooting. The victim with gunshot wounds was then transported to Elliott Hospital, where he, unfortunately, died despite the medical team's efforts.
Though ongoing investigations have not, thus far, pointed to a clear and present danger to the public, the incident has disrupted rather than attempting the reassuring calm often associated with the neighborhood. As local law enforcement work to uncover answers, Manchester citizens find their sense of security unsettled.
