On November 9, a 17-year-old girl was the victim of a shooting incident on Chicago's Southwest Side. The girl was walking on West 71st Street when an unidentified shooter in a black BMW opened fire, striking her in the lower back according to CBS News.
The victim was left at Holy Cross Hospital in good condition. The investigation is being handled by Area 1 detectives, with no arrests made as of yet.
