A juvenile delinquent’s night of crime ended behind bars after authorities say he robbed a man at gunpoint on a Chicago street. In a late-night twist of fate, the 15-year-old boy was arrested shortly after the alleged armed encounter, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The incident unfolded on the 5100 block of N. Broadway in the city’s 20th District, where the young offender and others, yet to be nabbed by the law, reportedly confronted a 26-year-old male victim. Having reportedly brandished a firearm, the teenager is said to have relieved the victim of his possessions. Armed with details, the cops zeroed in on the suspect less than an hour later on the 1100 block of W. Winona, where he was apprehended, was still filled with the night’s adrenaline.
