In a Houston neighborhood, a desperate search by a family for their missing 21-year-old loved one ended in horror when they tracked her car to Meyerland and found her dead body stashed in the trunk.
The incident was encountered after Southwest Patrol officers were called around 5:34 p.m. to the 5400 block of Indigo Street, ABC13 reported. The young woman, not identified by authorities, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Lt. Larry Crowson mentioned that the woman was not native to the area.
Detailing the unusual case, the Houston Police Department tweeted their presence at the homicide scene.
