The Walnut Creek Police Department's Investigations Bureau teamed up with the Central County SWAT team and secured an arrest of a man involved in two separate incidents of city robbery.

The accused, Malcolm Hale, faces charges including multiple counts of robbery and unlawful possession of firearms. His bail has been set at $600,000 according to the Walnut Creek Police Department

The robberies unfolded on November 3 and November 8, at a Burger King parking lot and Autopia Carwash, respectively. The arrest took place on November 10 and resulted in the confiscation of an AR-15 assault-style rifle.

Walnut Creek Police urge anyone with information relating to these incidents to contact them, particularly if there are potential connections to other recent robberies in the downtown area, as reported by the police department.
