
Yesterday, the Worcester Police Department swiftly responded to a firearm incident on Birch Street. The prompt arrest of nineteen-year-old Christian Tian-Salvador occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m., as a response to a ShotSpotter activation, according to the Worcester Police Department.
The swift actions of the police officers allowed them to locate a loaded handgun in a local common area of an apartment near Birch Street. Tian-Salvador was identified fleeing the scene, as outlined by the Worcester Police Department. After an on-site investigation and speaking with witnesses, Tian-Salvador was charged with Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, and Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling.
