Yesterday, the Worcester Police Department Vice Squad seized firearms and cocaine during a search warrant at a Plantation Street hotel room and a UHaul storage facility on Hammon St. According to the official press release, officers detained suspects Angel Ortiz, aged 37, and Zakarra Ortiz, aged 18.
The search swiftly unearthed a loaded handgun and cocaine. This led to a second search warrant at a UHaul storage facility, where officers discovered a handgun and a shotgun.
The suspects face multiple charges, such as trafficking in a Class B substance over 200 grams and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.
