A 19-year-old man was shot and killed inside a vehicle on Chicago's West Side. The incident took place in the Austin neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, said the Chicago police.

The victim, identified as Mylez Tucker, was in a vehicle with four other individuals in the 5200 block of West Madison Street. At approximately 1:45 p.m., one of the passengers discharged a firearm, shooting Tucker. He was subsequently rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Chicago Sun-Times.

Further details revealed by police noted that after the shooting, two passengers and the suspected shooter fled the scene on foot.
