The tight-knit community of Anoka County is grappling with grief following the sudden and violent death of 18-year-old Jayden Lee Kline, who was found shot just steps from her home on the 4500 block of Third Street Northeast, as reported by CBS News Minnesota.
Lisa Garcia, a medical assistant and longtime resident of the area, was summoned to the scene to administer CPR. "She seemed like a sweet girl to me for this to happen was horrible, horrible beyond words," she told CBS News Minnesota. Authorities detained a 17-year-old boy in the wake of the shooting though charges had not been filed at the time, and it remains undetermined if there was any acquaintance between him and Kline.
In a parallel effort to discern the sequence of Thursday's events, law enforcement officials from both the Fridley Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff's Office are diligently at work, though details surrounding the death remain scant, Hoodline reported.
