A bomb threat in Palm Beach County Thursday morning prompted authorities to take swift action, evacuating a local synagogue and locking down a nearby school. Officials closed a section of El Clair Ranch Road while they investigated the menacing call targeted at Anshei Chesed Congregation, located at 10683 El Clair Ranch Road, according to WPTV.
Law enforcement responded to the scene, executing a shutdown of El Clair Ranch Road between Boynton Beach Boulevard and Woolbright Road during the intense investigation. The all-clear was sounded before 11 a.m. Sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera relayed to WPTV, "The threat was made to the Anshei Chesed Congregation." Meanwhile, the SouthTech Academy found itself briefly on a precautionary lockdown as the thrill of uncertainty enveloped the vicinity.
