Boston Police Department detectives from District D-4 are turning to the community for help in identifying suspects in a high-stakes break-in at Back Bay. Officials reported that an estimated $30,000 worth of goods were burglarized from an establishment on Newbury Street in the wee hours earlier today. The incident occurred around 3:25 AM at 47 Newbury Street, sending a ripple through the upscale shopping district.
With the investigation ongoing, authorities are determined to quickly and thoroughly gather evidence that could lead to the identification and capture of the individuals involved. The Boston police, pressing on the public's keen eye, released images of the subjects in a plea for any information that might be useful. In a statement obtained by the Boston Police Department's news blog, they have asked anyone who can identify the individuals to step forward.
This call to action for the community is hardly new; Boston PD has long enlisted local residents' aid in their investigative efforts. But the high value and brazen nature of this particular crime have undoubtedly added a sense of urgency to their appeals. Police have implored those who may know anything to contact District D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.
