Boston's holiday mood was disrupted by a thief, as detectives from District B-3 (Mattapan) are on the hunt for a suspect caught on camera swiping packages from a River Street building lobby. The suspect forced entry and made off with 20 to 25 packages, leaving a trail of opened parcels and the stench of cigarette smoke behind, according to the Boston Police Department.
The resident's keen instinct for trouble led to the disturbing discovery. With management reviewing camera footage that revealed an individual breaking into the building and pilfering the packages, causing damage to some in the process, the incident took place in Mattapan. The Boston Police Department emphasized their commitment to scrutinizing every detail of the incident and appealed for public intervention.
