A gas scare at a Cedar Park hotel this Tuesday morning prompted an evacuation as emergency crews flocked to the scene to investigate a potential hazard. Cedar Park Police confirmed the evacuation of SpringHill Suites, located near Discovery Boulevard and FM 1431, due to a suspected gas leak, as reported by KXAN.

The alarm, which comes on the heels of another gas leak a mere 24 hours earlier, seems to have quickly become part of a worrying regularity in the area. Authorities were forced to similarly evacuate guests and staff as a precaution while they worked to quickly address and repair the issue. This is the second such incident in Cedar Park within a single day's span, according to FOX 7 Austin.
