Chicago's streets witnessed a chilling saga as 20-year-old Trevon Redmond was charged with the attempted murder of a 37-year-old man. An announcement made by Chicago Police marked an end to the manhunt that ensnared the city.
According to the CPD report, the young man from the 1800 block of S. Hamlin Ave faced a grim reality in court, with charges stacking against him for a nearly fatal confrontation that unfolded on May 4th.
Redmond was nabbed on December 11 by the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force after he was pinpointed as the assailant in the shooting, which happened around 9:39 p.m. on the 3700 block of W. Lexington St. The victim's identity has not been publicly shared.
