Chick-fil-A continues to rapidly expand in the area. The fast-food chain has thrown open its doors at 2203 SE Loop 410, near Rigsby Avenue on the East Side, the company confirmed Tuesday.
Chick-fil-A also recently opened additional locations in the area, including the much-anticipated spot at Hwy 211 & Potranco, which started to serve up sandwiches on November 16. The new restaurant at 14521 Potranco Road opens its drive-thru and dining room at the crack of dawn, 6:30 a.m. this Thursday, according to MySA.
A spokesperson for the company said each location would provide about 100 full- and part-time jobs to the area. Chick-fil-A is donating $100,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank, coinciding with this group of openings, reported KSAT.
The fast-food titan is planning to open two more locations: one at Highway 151 and Military, set to begin serving on December 7, and another unnamed spot to be revealed later in December.
Following a tradition, the new location will continue to keep Sundays for rest, as it will operate Monday through Saturday, MySA pointed out.
