The Chula Vista Police Department confirmed via Twitter that their officers served a search warrant at the smoke shop, which led to the discovery of 32 pounds of illegal cannabis, 130 pounds of flavored tobacco, and an unregistered shotgun. The police department has praised the funding that allows such operations, stating, "We’re thankful for grant funding that helps us conduct these operations and educate our youth about the harms of using cannabis and tobacco products," echoing a sentiment for continued vigilance against such activities.
