Before his brief tenure in Dallas, the linebacker had spells with the Tennessee Titans, where he was originally drafted, and the Atlanta Falcons.
The decision to waive Evans has led to the activation of offensive lineman Matt Waletzko, who has recovered from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for much of the season. The shift fills the vacancy on the 53-man roster and suggests the team's planning for prospects and depth, as per CBS News.
