Alan Wilson, 42, was discovered lifeless on Tuesday morning, igniting an investigation that authorities are treating as a potential homicide. Wilson's body was found in a gravel parking lot between Copper Canyon Road and the Old Alton Bridge, a site steeped in local legend and now a scene of modern tragedy, according to FOX 4 News.
The area, which has seen better days, was quickly encased in the yellow tape of police lines as deputies responded to the 2800 block of Old Alton Road around 8:15 a.m. They arrived to not only find Wilson's body but also a dark-colored Mitsubishi SUV, which sat idly near the corpse.
